Admissions Welcome
A school for children who love to learn
First and foremost, Belmont Day School students love to learn. Every day, they engage with an eager curiosity and a genuine desire to create substantive and meaningful work. With each passing grade, they grow more in their sense of identity, self-advocacy, and ability to take on challenges. We offer a rich academic program with diverse athletic and artistic experiences woven into each day. A wealth of in-depth projects and leadership opportunities inspire students to apply their knowledge and critical thinking skills.
We help students become leaders
Belmont Day School graduates are student leaders who are prepared for their next steps, but the first step towards that end is the one you take. Whether you are just beginning to explore school options for your preschooler or have an older student who is curious, capable, and begging for more out of school, you can move forward by reading about our engaging curriculum and getting to know our talented faculty. Then contact us for more information.
We encourage you to reach out and use us as resources in your school search. We are eager to demystify the independent school admission process and provide clarity as you assess school fit. We are here to answer your questions and are excited to partner with you and get to know your student.

Tuition & Financing a Belmont Day Education
Belmont Day is committed to providing the opportunity of an independent school education to families, regardless of their financial circumstances. It is our goal that any child who has been accepted to the school will be able to attend. The school looks case-by-case at family circumstances to provide need-based financial awards that bring the cost of tuition within reach.
The Annette Raphel Scholarship for Leadership and Diversity
This full-tuition merit scholarship is awarded annually to a new, incoming sixth grade student. All applicants who live in the Greater Boston area and identify as African-American/Black or Hispanic/Latinx are eligible to apply.
