My favorite children’s author is … Kate DiCamillo. Hands down! Her writing style is beautiful, poetic, simple yet profound, accessible but rich with emotion and meaning. She’s most famous for The Tale of Desperaux and Because of Winn-Dixie, but she’s written many more gems as well!
If I could invite any three people (living or deceased) to dinner, I would invite … Marie Laliberte (my seventh grade geography teacher), Kelly Giguere (my high school English teacher), and Anna Mello (my first mentor teacher).
