Students at their graduation ceremony applaud a speaker

Beyond Belmont Day

We regularly hear from secondary schools about how much they enjoy enrolling Belmont Day students. In addition to being academically strong and socially adept, our graduates are also good citizens who know how to care for others. They are enthusiastic learners who contribute in classrooms and throughout the community. They often become athletic team captains, stand out in the arts, and serve as leaders of clubs and campus activities in their next schools. Meanwhile, we also hear from alumni and parents how well their Belmont Day education prepared them for high school and laid the foundation to be lifelong learners. Our graduates are confident public speakers and excellent researchers and writers. They have strong STEM skills and are creative problem-solvers in every discipline. They use the self-awareness and advocacy skills developed here to pursue thoughtful goals and succeed. It is no wonder that our graduates go on to the high schools of their choosing, including day and boarding independent schools, faith-based schools, and local public schools. Our director of high school placement works closely with families to ensure that our students progress to high schools that are a strong fit for their interests and strengths.
