Kendree Chen ’21 is a student at Boston University Academy and co-president of the Greater Boston STEM Program (gbSTEM). This nonprofit organization provides free mathematics, computer science, engineering, science, and robotics enrichment programming for over 1500 Massachusetts elementary and middle school students. It gets them involved in extracurricular activities and projects to build their passion for STEM. Kendree ran the coding and robotics programs at gbSTEM this fall and taught the weekend robotics class, which some current BDS students attended.
