My Capstone Project would be on … The Perfect Day: I’d love to research the similarities and differences in how people (of a variety of ages and backgrounds from around the world) would describe their idea of the “Perfect Day.”
If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, I would choose… my grandfather on my Mom’s side. I never got to meet him but I know he was a talented carpenter, a caring person, and that he built his own home that was then torn down a few years later when a highway was put in. I’d love to know more about his personality and interests!
My favorite children’s author is… Else Holmelund Minarik, the creator of the Little Bear series as that was one of the first books I remember being able to read all my myself. Being able to read, imagine, and learn felt magical!
