Community Activities: Festivals attended include the Aspen Music Festival, National Orchestral Institute, Tanglewood Music Center, and Music Academy of the West. In addition to Belmont Day School, Timur teaches percussion at Rivers Conservatory, Boston College, Concord-Carlisle Regional High School, Norwood High School, Coakley Middle School, Foxboro Regional Charter School, Tufts Youth Philharmonic, and Common Time Music Studio summer camp.
Recent Professional Development: His freelance experience includes Atlantic Symphony (where he is principal timpanist,) Cape Symphony, Plymouth Philharmonic, Rhodes Island Philharmonic, Symphony New Hampshire, New England Symphony, New Bedford Symphony, Massachusetts Symphony, and many other regional performing organizations.
